Paris, France to Berlin, Germany

July 6th, 2012

I packed my bags and depart to the France airport. I have gotten a flight one way from Paris to Berlin for $173.15. The airline that I would be taking is Lufthansa Airways. The class of the flight is economy. The price of the actual flight is $86.00 and there is a service fee of $12.00 and there is $75.15 in taxes. I would leave Paris at Jul 05, 2012 9:20 AM and I would arrive in Berlin at Jul 05, 2012 10:55 AM. My flight would be 1 hour and 35 minutes approximately.

The hotel that I would be staying at in Berlin would be the City Inn. This was the cheapest hotel that I was able to find. They have rooms $35.29 a night. The hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a bar and lounge that is open for drinks. The hotel includes an indoor pool, a health club, a sauna, a fitness facility, and a steam room. There's free Wi-Fi in public areas. This is also a smoke-free area which is good for me.

Since I was staying there for four nights, I will be charged for four nights. There is a $2 applicable tax for every night that you stay. The room that I was able to get was a normal comfort class room for one week. For 4 nights the price was $141.16 with taxes. The taxes were $9.88.

For the sightseeing that I have done in Berlin, there were three places that I had to go to. These three places include the Berlin Wall, Berlin . The itinerary that I had to see first was the Berlin Wall. It is a great historical landmark. The wall divided West and East Germany once upon a time. The next day I visited the Berlin Philharmonic. I thought that my busy and hectic trip around the world could use some nice soothing classical music. So that's exactly what I did there. I listened to a orchestra live. Not to mention the architecture of the building itself is absolutely breathtaking. The third place that I went to see was the Pergamon Museum the day after I went to the Berlin Philharmonic. The museum specializes in ancient history and has many artefacts. The museum has the Alter of Zeus and the Ishtar Gate from Babylon. The same night I headed to the airport for my flight.

Berlin, Germany to Vienna, Austria

July 11th 2012

I got my bags packed and headed to the Berlin airport. I have found a one way fright from Berlin airport to Vienna airport for a very low price of only $87.99. The airline that I would be flying with is Air-Berlin. The class of the flight that I would be taking is economy class. The price of the actual flight is actually just $20.00 but there is a service fee of $12.00 and there is $55.99 in applicable taxes. I would leave Berlin at Jul 11, 2012 7:20 PM and I would arrive in Vienna in Jul 11, 2012 8:35 PM. The total time of my flight would be approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The hotel that I would be staying in Vienna is the Atlantis Hotel Vienna. The price was very reasonable for the rating of the hotel, which was a 4 star hotel. The hotel has rooms starting at $55.30 a night. The hotel includes multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and currency exchange. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is available in public areas. The hotel serves buffet breakfasts each morning in the breakfast room. The hotel also has designated areas for smoking.

I would be staying at the hotel for four nights so I that is how long I would be charged for. There is $6 in applicable taxes for each night that you stay. The room that I have purchased was an executive single room. For four nights the price of the hotel room was $221.20 and there were $22.12 in taxes. The total for the room was $243.32.

The three places that I have gone to for the sightseeing were the Tiergarten Schonbrunner - Zoo Vienna, the Historic Center of Vienna and the Kunsthistorisches Museum. The place that I saw first was the Historic Center of Vienna. The Historic Center of Vienna is a square in Vienna and it is outdoors. Because it's public and a local square, it's free! In the Historic Center of Vienna I experienced beautiful architecture and saw gorgeous monuments. The next itinerary that I went to see was the Tiergarten Schonbrunner - Zoo Vienna. This zoo was packed with many animals that you wouldn't find in Europe, like penguins! The Tiergarten Schonbrunner - Zoo Vienna is also the world’s oldest zoo that is still operating! The last thing I went to see was the Kunsthistorisches Museum. The Kunsthistorisches Museum contains priceless artefacts and beautiful art. It also contains many objects that were created for Austrian emperors. The same night that went to the museum I headed to the airport to leave for my next destination.
