Veinna, Austria to Bucharest, Romania

July 16th 2012

I got all of my things ready and I headed to the airport. I have managed to find a one way flight from Vienna to Bucharest at the amazingly low price of just $91.68. The airline that I would be flying with is Air-Berlin and the class of my flight would be economy. The actual price of the ticket is just $1 but there are fees and taxes. The service fee is $12.00 and taxes are $78.68 for the flight. I would leave Vienna at Jul 16, 2012 5:00 PM and I would arrive in Bucharest at Jul 16, 2012 7:35 PM. The total time of my flight is approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes.

The hotel that I stayed in Bucharest was the Denisa Hotel Otopeni. The hotel is rated 3 stars and the prices start at $41.06 a night. The hotel includes an open bar for drinks, it has a buffet breakfast, and it has specific areas for smoking. The hotel also has Wi-Fi and high-speed internet in public areas. Guest parking is complimentary and the hotel includes multilingual staff.

I stayed at the hotel for a total of four nights and that is how long I was charged for. There are $3.90 in applicable charges that apply for each night that you stay. The room that I was able to get was normal single room. For four nights the cost of the hotel room was $224.79 in total. There was $19.51 in taxes that applied. The room itself was $205.28.

The three places that I went to see in Bucharest were Stavropoleos Church, Herastrau Park, and Mogosoaia Palace. The first place that I went to go see first was the Stavropoleos Church. The church was a very old church - it was built in 1724 and it's the oldest church in Bucharest. The church displayed beautiful architecture. The second place that I went to was Herastrau Park. The park was a very calm and serine place. It was very peaceful and it gave me a breather from all of the other hectic things on my trip. The park has a giant pond and a bunch of beautiful trees. The last place that I visited was Mogosoaia Palace. The Palace was a very large place and it was a great place to learn about history. There are gardens outside the palace and it's a nice place to just walk around. The same day that I went to go see the palace was the same I headed to the airport to leave to L'viv, Ukraine.

The hotel has a bar, a complimentary hot and cold buffet, an indoor pool, and a sauna. There is high-speed internet that was absolutely free of charge, a multi-lingual staff and laundry facilities.

I stayed at the hotel for four nights. Since I only stayd for four nights, that's how much I was charged for. For four nights the total for the one bedroom was $246.56. There were $41.08 in taxes that I had to pay and the actual room itself was $205.48.

For the three site seeing destinations that I have chose they were Lychakiv Cemetery, L'viv Theater of Opera and Ballet and. The first itinerary that I saw was the cemetery. The cemetery was a very peaceful and serene place. It was very calming and it was great just for walks. The second place that I went to go see in L'viv was the Lviv Theater of Opera and Ballet. Here I listened to the fat lady sing. There was also a ballet performance that I saw which was magnificent. There was also an underground restaurant that served very nice Borsch soup. The last place that I went to was the captivating St. George's Cathedral. I saw absolutely brilliant architecture mixed with the religious ties of the Orthodox Church. It was one church that I wouldn't forget. I packed my bags the same day and headed to the airport for my next stop which was Warsaw.
